RUN OR WALK WITH US AND SUPPORT A GOOD CAUSE

Participation is free! The city is celebrating 750 years, and you’re invited. Run for Fun, Give for Change! Donate to a charity of choice. Select one from the options on the right.

The Sloterdijk Community Run is our city’s gift to you—an opportunity to celebrate 750 years of Amsterdam with a free and festive run. But while we run for fun, not every child has the opportunity to experience the joy of sports and culture. Let’s change that together! By donating to the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture, you help children from low-income families participate in sports teams, dance classes, music lessons, and more. Every euro brings a child closer to discovering their passion, building confidence, and staying active. You get to run for free—will you pass the gift forward?

Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur

Run to give every child in Amsterdam an equal start!

By running for Stichting Samen is Niet Alleen (SINA), you support our mission to help children in Amsterdam who grow up in poverty. SINA provides essential necessities like beds, school supplies, and clothing, ensuring that no child is left behind. We visit these families at home, offering practical support to improve their living conditions and give them a real chance at a better future.

Help out as a volunteer!

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this year’s Community Run an unforgettable day! Whether you’re cheering runners on, helping with setup, or guiding the crowd, there’s a role for everyone. Pick your preferred time slots and tasks in the form, each shift is just 2 hours long, so there’s plenty of time to soak up the vibe, meet neighbors, and enjoy the festivities.

Hang out after the run

The run is over, but the fun continues! There will be a special kidszone with fun games, plenty of space to catch up with (new) friends, and… don’t forget to use your 30% discount coupon for a delicious bite at the foodtrucks.

The perfect way to end your Saturday afternoon!
